1.How is the life of sweatworkers in L.A. the same as those in Indonesia? How is it different?

They have lots of cockroaches and rats in there house. They get little pay for many hours of work. There are different because L.A workers have better beds and toilets. Further more, they live in a better enviroment. Indonesia workers have no clothes and they live in shacks with over 12 people.

2. Why is it that poor immigrants (newcomers) end up working at sweatshops? Why don’t they work as lawyers or doctors or at Mcdonalds?

Immigrants cant work in good jobs because one, the law probably think they dont have the skills for that type of job.Also they need there papers and education.

3. Predict what’s going to happen by the end of this movie.

What I think is going to happen is that those L.A sweatshop workers are going to get there papers and get educated and march for there rights with a whole bunch of immigrants.
